DESCRIPTION:The day begins with a breakfast from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for all veterans at St. Anthony Catholic Church on East Main Street in Blue Ridge.  The annual Veterans Day parade will follow at 11 a.m. It begins from the corner of East Main and Church streets in Blue Ridge and continues along East Main through downtown to East First Street\, then to Veterans Memorial Park on Old Highway 76\, across from Fannin County Middle School. Parade will include the Fannin County High School band\, members of the military\, antique and emergency vehicles and representatives from several veterans organizations. Memorial service will begin at 12 noon. \nVeterans Memorial Park is located at: 4584 Old Hwy 76\, adjacent to the Fannin County Middle School and the Cemetery.  There is an old Huey Helicopter and multiple flags at the location.

DESCRIPTION:Support the arts as you enjoy wine samplings from various area vintners. \nThis year’s event includes a wine grab\, silent auction\, count the corks raffle\, savory food and live entertainment. \nTicket prices are $35\, $30 for BRMAA members\, and includes free samples of local area vintners\, a commemorative BRMAA wine glass\, and gourmet food selections and a complimentary glass of wine with each event ticket. \nTickets are available here online and at the Art Center. \nAll proceeds from this event benefit our youth arts programming including our Youth Art Summer Camp and our ongoing youth arts scholarships. Dress Festive: \nWild hats & accessories\, crazy outfits\, even costumes.. The more green the better! \nYou can walk in the parade\, bring a float etc. all are welcome.  Line up in front of the St. Marks Catholic Church on East Main Street at 10:30 (Near the playground at the city park) No need to register\, just show up and join in the fun.  Rain or Shine \nWhere to watch? Anywhere along West Main and East Main. Parade will come down East Main turn left on Mountain Street and left again on West Main and follow it back to the start point.
