DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Halloween Sanctuary Tour designed just for kids!\nSaturday\, October 26th and Sunday\, October 27th \nTickets available from 10:30am -1:30pm – actual tour time determined at event check in. \nChildren are invited to “Chimp or Treat” in costume to see the sanctuary and enrich the lives of the chimps! \nTickets are $10 per child 15 & under. \nEach child’s ticket comes with a free adult ticket. \nAdditional adult tickets may be purchased for $35 each. \nChildren 2 and under are free! \nEach child will receive:\nA 45-60 minute\, guided\, walking tour \nA special “treat” bag to Trick or Treat for vegan candies as well as non-food treats items such as temporary tattoos\, erasers\, and other goodies \nThe chance to see our chimps in their habitat from one of our viewing windows \nIf you would like your child to participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project and receive only non-food goodies\, please indicate this at checkout. \nWe are offering opportunities for this event to families who could not otherwise afford the ticket price\, if you would like to contribute and underwrite the cost of a ticket for another child\, please add this as a donation during check out. The best part of the season\, a beautiful location\, music\, and a hot meal. \nOctober 5\, 2024 \nLengths: 50K\, 30K\, or 15K \nThis is not just a race; it is an unforgettable event! The best part of the season with a beautiful location\, music\, and a hot meal. The Blue Ridge Ultra is a 50K loop trail race is deep within the beautiful Chattahoochee National Forest of the North Georgia Mountains. It consists of 20 miles of the Benton MacKaye trail\, 2 miles of Hidden trails and 9 miles of Forest Service roads. You will experience tough\, and sometimes technical spots\, single track trails\, small creek crossings\, steep ascents and even steeper descents all while enjoying the leaves changing colors. Start and Finish at the historic Shallowford iron bridge spanning the Toccoa River. This race will challenge the most experienced racer and provide a memorable experience for those looking to complete a trail run in the mountains of Blue Ridge. Using the same trails\, there is a 30K and 15K option. The cost per person is $80 and\nmust be paid online in advance and are non-refundable.\nPlease plan to arrive trackside at car #105 by 5:15 pm\nto check in and receive your boarding ticket.
