DESCRIPTION:Light Up Blue Ridge is always the \nSaturday after Thanksgiving! \nBlue Friday is November 24\, 2023 \nLight Up Blue Ridge and the Annual Blue Ridge Christmas Parade is November 25\, 2023 \nBlue Friday day will include downtown merchants store discounts\, Christmas holiday cheer\, food vendors and strolling entertainment. \nLight Up Blue Ridge day will be full of Christmas cheer\, strolling Christmas entertainment\, food vendors\, and children will be able to visit Santa Clause in the gazebo located in the park. \nGingerbread Village will be open to the public at noon from November 25th to December 11th at the Arts Center. \nThe Christmas Parade is on Saturday the day of Light Up Blue Ridge\, it starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs down E. Main from Church Street to Mountain\, down Mountain and back up W. Main to Depot. \nPICTURES WITH SANTA WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE GAZEBO FROM NOON UNTIL 4:15 PM. SANTA WILL CONTINUE VISITING WITH CHILDREN THAT WERE IN LINE PRIOR TO 4:15 UNTIL 4:30 PM. SUMMARY:Veterans Day Parade and Memorial Service
DESCRIPTION:NOVEMBER 11\, 2023 11:00 AM –1:00 PM\n\n\n\nThe day begins with a breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for all veterans at St. Anthony Catholic Church on East Main Street in Blue Ridge. Lineup for the parade will begin at 10:15 a.m. The annual Veterans Day parade will follow at 11 a.m. It begins from the corner of East Main and Church streets in Blue Ridge and continues along East Main through downtown to East First Street\, then to Veterans Memorial Park on Old Highway 76\, across from Fannin County Middle School. Parade will include the Fannin County High School band\, members of the military\, antique and emergency vehicles and representatives from several veterans organizations. Memorial service will begin at 12 noon. \nVeterans Memorial Park is located at: 4584 Old Hwy 76\, adjacent to the Fannin County Middle School and the Cemetery.
