Blue Ridge Community Theatre: William Shakespeare

Each of Shakespeare’s 37 plays in a two-act 97-minute sprint. From the bitter sweet Romeo and Juliet to the fall o Julius Ceaser, three actors capture the essence of each and every one of the Bard’s plays in this whirlwind tour-de-farce. Just as in Shakespeare’s time the language may be bawdy and brutish, cross dressing is common place, and there’s always a fool, if not three. While the show is scripted, improvisation plays a big part in the show, and results in unique performances every night.
