Weekly wine tastings are held on Thursday and Saturday, featuring a curated flight that changes weekly. In-home tasting packages are also available with advance booking. We will curate packages to fit any occasion and budget – a weekend at the lake/cabin, weddings, special events, stocking up for the season, food pairings, and more. We also carry a selection of specialty food items including cheese, charcuterie, crackers, chocolate, nuts, and are the exclusive Blue Ridge retailer of caviar! 34th Degree° Wine Merchant is owned and operated by Emily Krueger, who established the shop after a successful 20-year advertising career. Simultaneous to her career in advertising, Emily studied and was awarded multiple certifications in wine education, including the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 Advanced Certificate; North American Sommelier Association (NASA) Italian Wine Specialist and American Wine Specialist; and Wine Scholar Guild (WSG) French Wine Scholar.
Emily’s goal with 34th Degreeº Wine Merchant is to share her passion for wine with Blue Ridge residents and visitors by creating a space where people with all levels of knowledge can find new and interesting bottles of wine to share with their loved ones, creating that same sense of community that inspired her to follow this journey.
