Teresa and her husband moved to Atlanta in 1987 where she built her career in technology throughout the 1990s. In 1999, they purchased a second home on Lake Blue Ridge in Necowa Cove and their family has enjoyed escaping to the lake in the spring and summer months. With the successful growth of Blue Ridge throughout the past decade, Teresa feels it’s more important than ever to commit to preserving the environmental goals of LBRCA.
Suzanne Ponton, Member & Special Events
Suzanne and her husband, Brett, first came to Blue Ridge over the New Year’s weekend of 2006 and promptly fell in love with the area and purchased a cabin in Mineral Bluff. While enjoying their second home here, it wasn’t enough, so they decided to find a more permanent home on the lake. The renovation of their home on Stewart Camp Point was a labor of love and though Brett commutes weekly for his CEO position with Monro Services, they have enjoyed being here permanently for the last four years with their four-legged family members. Suzanne is the owner/manager of North Georgia Storage which has locations in Blue Ridge, McCaysville, Mineral Bluff and Murphy. She is active in community volunteering and also currently serves on the board of the Humane Society of Blue Ridge.
