Lake Blue Ridge Civic Association Scholarship and Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Fund
The Lake Blue Ridge Civic Association Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to Fannin County High School students to further their education at accredited colleges and universities. The Fund was established in 2017 and is administered by the Community Foundation of North Georgia and LBRCA.
LBRCA also offers financial assistance in Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Programs. These Programs are designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for career readiness no matter what trade or profession they may choose to pursue after high school graduation. The fund was established in 2020 and is administered by LBRCA and Fannin County High School Administration.
Chief sources of revenue for the funds are membership dues in addition to revenues produced by other fundraisers held through the year, contributions from our members, and our generous corporate sponsors.
The scholarship selection committee consists of three members of the Association’s Board; a representative from the Community Foundation of North Georgia and the Senior Guidance Counselor from Fannin County High School.
