Locally driven and locally owned, Misty Mountain Hops is a music-centric restaurant, providing a social atmosphere and a place to relax. Our belief is through music and food we can provide for people of all backgrounds, generations, and beliefs to come together and enjoy an enthusiastic experience.
Owners Chad Bowers and Aaron Born were raised in Fannin County. They graduated in 1993 and 1995, respectively. Aaron has been in the service industry for 30+ years and opened startups in Atlanta before moving back to Blue Rudge in 2018 to start MMH.
Aaron’s Father, Inman Born, owned Automotive Specialties downtown for over 30 years and his Mom was an educator for the Gilmer County School System. Chad’s Father owned Better Building Systems, located where the restaurant is now. His Mom had an adjacent sewing shop.
MMH presents live weekly events including live music, Singo, and trivia. All events are general admission and no cover charge!
