Boating Safety Orientation

Our Georgia Department of Natural Resources officer will be conducting a presentation on boating safety. This informational meeting will address proper registration and marking of all motorized vessels on the lake, minimum safety equipment requirements and basic rules of navigation and safety for all types of watercraft. This orientation is recommended for any new boater, current boaters who would like to stay updated on boater safety, and especially for young operators.
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a certification course. Participants will not receive any sort of certificate indicating they have taken the course. This is a free service and benefit to our members and their guests, many of whom have requested such a course.
Participants should bring their own chairs for seating, hat for shade and sunscreen. The orientation will last approximately one hour.
